Movember
In November 2019, a few of my colleagues at Wex Photo Video decided to take part in Movember – a charity with an aim to spread awareness of men's health issues. To raise money throughout November, participants grow out their moustaches. Men's health issues, especially mental health, need to be talked about openly and not treated as a taboo in our society. With that in mind, I decided to join in and wore a fake moustache to work on every day of November. We had an achievable goal of raising just £100 which we have surpassed by £8. The great thing is that if you would like to support the charity, you can still donate to our page or any other fundraising page on Movember's website. Perhaps you or your workplace would like to get involved this year. It's a great bonding experience for you and your teammates and it's all for a great cause so why not give it a go?
